Skytus is a simple tool that improves communication and collaboration facilities for Lotus Notes users. It combines power features of both applications, Skype and IBM Lotus Notes. Lotus Notes users are typically have big number of corporate and private contacts in personal address books, in the same time they use Skype for direct communication with these contacts. It could be calls or chats, depending on current minute needs.


Skytus placed in the middle of these 2 products. General use case is very simple. You might have hundreds of contacts in you Lotus Notes address book, 90% of them are Skype users as well. And you do not want to switch between two applications because first one is actually contact information storage, second is communication tool. Skytus integrates to Lotus Notes personal address book and provides a native UI to perform calls and chats directly from Lotus Notes. 


Skytus is free software. It could be easily installed on Lotus Notes 6.5, 7, 8 and 8.5. We are continue to improve it by implementing new features. After internal acceptance new versions are uploaded to site, so you are ready to upgrade.
